Well, work was boring as usual but I did get out early so that was nice. I also talked to one of the guys at work and his wife knits and sews. He mentioned it because he saw my knitting out on the desk. I bring it to work because it gives me something to do on the metro other than sit and stare at the other people on the train. I'm knitting a shawl for Mom for Christmas. It's just the green modernish looking yard I got as part of a pack of three for $5 at the craft store. I figure she'll probably use it at Pennsic or even around the house since she's always cold.
So, got out of work two hours early and I quickly got home, grabbed Miss Ginsie, and went to my parents house to see if Mom needed help for tomorrow. She didn't really (I think I helped Dad more by being a weight to steady the board he was sawing so that the table has a nice new leaf). My brother Lee and I spent most of the afternoon playing WII which is so much fun. I played the new Zelda shooting game which is fairly easy. (If I can get through 7 levels in an hour, it's easy.) I also got to play the galaxy Mario game which is so wild. You go upside down, side ways, and you never know where you'll end up. I'm not that great at it...I only have three stars so far but I plan on playing more tomorrow while everyone else is vegged out on Turkey.
On the way home, they had a sobriety checkpoint right before the corner I turn to go home. It was kinda funny because Miss Ginsie just had to step into my lap and say "hello" to the police officer outside my window. (They were stopping everyone). He seems to like seeing a small white furry & friendly face at the window and laughed at the sober puppy. He let us get on home. :-) Not that I've had anything more than ginger ale today. Tomorrow will probably be a different story.
