Decisions!

isabelladangeloI've decided to make the 1840's gown out of the lilac silk I was told was pink. It's shiny, smooth, and silk. I much rather have the wrong color when I order than the wrong fabric content. The wrong color is fixable. However, I think lilac with black lace will be oh so Poeish and work far better. I have the lining for the dress done so it's I should have enough of it completed to put up pictures tomorrow. :-)
I actually did WORK today. I was so happy. The problem is, I'm leaving next week! Maybe I can get an extension...hmmm.....
Mom gave me Grandma's old lace curtains. I have enough lace curtains now to redecorate a Victorian mansion! She said some of them have holes so they might only be good for fabric.
Ginsie update:
The pup has decided that the really expensive soap I'm allergic to does NOT taste good after all. She took a nice little bite out of it. Maybe it was penance for everything else she's eaten lately?
