I didn't have it hooked up in the back which is why it looks a bit funny. I'm going to attach the skirt tomorrow and shorten the sleeves. I also want to add some lace to the sleeves and the edge of the collar.

It shouldn't take too long to finish it. I'll post finished pics tomorrow, hopefully. It's not really want I wanted but it's not horrible either. It's my first attempt at 19th c and I hand drafted it so I'm not too upset about the looks. It just doesn't have that "dress" feel yet. Hopefully, it will get that "dress" feel (rather than "costume") after I add all the trimmings.

The coat I'm really happy about so far. I'll post pictures of that later. I might just hide beneath that the entire time. :-)

Thanks! The bodice is, hopefully, going to look more like this one (http://digital.nypl.org/mmpco/searchresultsK.cfm?&trg=2&image_id=802252&title=Godey%27s%20Paris%20fashions%20Americanized%2C%201849%2E&strucID=571030&dstart=26&keyword=fashion%201849&NUM=25) when I'm completely done. I'm adding lace to the bottom of the skirt as well.

Maybe 1840's gothic lolita? That's a scary thought... Too bad my lace parasol is white...
