figured out how to do the false sleeves for the Princess Elizabeth Gown

So I was thinking of foregoing the false sleeves to the Princess Gown. However, I made a last ditch attempt today to make brooches and pins as seen on the false sleeves in the portrait to no-avail. Then, around 8 or 9 tonight, I suddenly came up with another idea. I re-sewed (is that a word?) the sleeves so that they are cones in shape and not flat. (hard to explain. I'll show pictures in the morning) I then just hand sewed all the lil gold filigres that I was trying to attach to the pin backings on to the sleeves itself. yes, this means they can't come off unless I cut them off, but it also means that I will have false sleeves opening day. I also added black onyx stones to each of the filigrees. It, so far, is coming out beautifully.
