I need to totally take apart the german gown and take it in...a few inches or feet or so...Once it's taken in and it looks kind alike the dress, I'll post pictures.

After this and at least a couple of more projects, I'm going to get started on my biggest project ever....sewing a Tent. Yes a tent. For SCA events and all. I was thinking of making a wagon on top of a trailer but making a tent is far far less $$$...that and I found the coolest camp bed ever. It folds out like a cot and folds back up into bench! So durign the day, I have a cute little bench and at night, a nice twin bed. Great for any SCA event that involves camping.

My plans for a tent. It sounds far more dauntign that it is. I'm going to modify a pop up sun canopy. I already ordered 25 + yards for indoor/outdoor use. It's dark olive with a beige scroll design. Not exactly the most beautiful looking fabric, but nice. That, and it only cost $40 shipping included. :-) So, although I loved some outdoor lavendar fabric, it was twice as much. So, olive it is! And yes, it's period. Go look at the famous Unicorn tapestry with the lady, 1506 I think? In the background is a navy blue pavillion tent.

So, I have a chiar, a bed, and soon, a tent! Now just a fire pit...a shower...and a portable "privy".
