Random stuff

First, the Elizabethan: Skirt is done. Bumroll is done. The doublet...I've decided I'm not adding the embroidery I was going to. I'm just going to leave it mostly plain. I'll have some "silk" cording around the edges and all, but that's it. Nothing super fancy.

It sounds like most people are doing the right thing and grabbing their pets, photo albums, and getting the heck out of there. Hopefully the winds will cease (or change direction and force the fire back over the already burned area) and maybe rain? All any of us can do is pray.
