It was a lot of fun. I should probably explain that for the past three weeks I've been trying to explain to Mom what "feast" means. She gets it now. As we were going home she said "Okay, I've got to tell Dad that when Sissy says 'feast' she means feast" Yes, Mommy, you will NOT go home hungry unless you want too.
Did I mention this was a long post? )
We did get up and leave a bit early (I'll explain in the next post) but I did want to say thank you to everyone. I had fun and Mom said she wants to come back next year (woohoo! Dress up Mommy again!).

My site still isn't great because it really still is more a way of me keeping track of "Where did I see that again?" type of things. Also, I'm using an html builder on that one and I don't like html builders. I much prefer to do my own html by hand.

Anyway, the documentation is up. I'll take a picture of the hat I made and probably put it up here later.

I started on a skirt. It's a totally muggle skirt. I wanted it for the Baptism today (which was fun! I saw people! And I ate cake! yum) but me and zippers...umm yeah.

So, I need to redo the skirt a bit and it should be okay. I might shorten it since it's ankle length and I'd like a "just below the knee" skirt instead. I could just throw the entire thing away and make a new one out of all the fabric I have left over...hmmm...

I also made a pair of PJ pants for me. It was out of the pink with rainbows and strawberries fabric I bought a couple of weeks back? They are soooooo cute! They are also so simple to make. It only took me 30 minutes to cut and sew them up. That's it. 30 minutes from fabric to finished product. If only all lovely clothing ideas were that simple.... (I used McCall's 3245 but edited. I combine the front and back to make one big piece so I'm only cutting out two pieces and not four. I also make them ankle length and not capri. I think it's out of print now but it's a very generic capri pant outfit)
