isabelladangelo: (Fabric)
Go through your five bins of fabric to see what you have again tonight.

I think I have some white/cream jacquard somewhere in one of the bins and I'd like to use that on the next project. I really need to go through the bins any way because I need to take inventory of all the fabric. I know I have red silk, enough mulberry uncut corduroy to make two or three dress, a couple of different pink linens, a couple of different white linens, a lot of grey velvet, a lot of black linen with gold embroidery, this pretty yellow/green jacquard that I want to use for a specific dress eventually, blue velvet for the Requiem dress, pink wool for a Venetian, white rayon velvet for a fairy dress that I've been planning to make since last century, and a few billion other yards I can't remember off the top of my head. Hence why I need to take inventory....
isabelladangelo: (Anne of a Thousand Days)
The coif is a bit too big. I don't think it's unwearably big but it's just a not the length I really wanted.

Top of the coif.

So, not perfect, but wearable. I'm going to wear a hat over it anyway so I don't think it matters much.....
isabelladangelo: (fabric colors)
I went through some of my fabric this afternoon. This one is one I want to use for this eventually. The reverse picture is slightly better than the other one. The color still isn't right. It really is a pale leafy green with gold.

This silver embroidered black velveteen is scrumptious. I had forgotten all about it until I went through the fabric. I only have four yards so I'm thinking Spanish surcote?
