The coif is a bit too big. I don't think it's unwearably big but it's just a not the length I really wanted.

So, not perfect, but wearable. I'm going to wear a hat over it anyway so I don't think it matters much.....

Actually, I think it's the right size, but you need to gather the back to make it sit properly.

I hope so. I just basted the top together to get an idea of how it would fit. I do plan on adding the forehead cloth and the "loops" to the back of the coif to gather the back. I'll take more pictures then and, hopefully, it will be okay. (Also, having my hair up rather than back in a braid might make a difference, huh? ;-) )

Putting a casing in the bottom and running a string will gather the coif close to your head.

That's a good idea! I'm planning on adding loops to the bottom (similar to the drawnwork coif in QEI's Wardrobe unlock'd on page 205) but I will try the drawstring casting next time.

Actually, I think it's the perfect size, especially once your hair is up properly. It needs to be drawn in at the back neck, that's all!
