Don't wanna go to work tomorrow
Dec. 28th, 2008 09:19 pmI have to go in this week at least a couple of days. I figure Monday, Tuesday, and most of Wednesday should be good enough...and then I think I might high tail it down to NC and go bug the rest of my family. I know Mom is dying to have me around. She's calling every couple of hours regarding the Twilight books. It's hilarious. She's getting really worked up about it...and reading through them really fast.
I only gained a pound after being at my Parents' for Christmas. That's easy to get rid off. I was worried because, well, Mom made enough cookies, fudge, and food in general to feed 30 people. I probably should have brought some ham home but I forgot. Another reason to go down to NC: Dad's black eyed peas. Yum. And reasonably healthy too...sorta.
I need to go to Joann's tomorrow and start on the undergown for my 12th night dress. I just want black (cotton) velvet for the undergown. I'm adding the ribbon guard to the bottom so that it will look Hearldic with the gold silk gown over it. It never takes me long to make the sleeveless version of this style so I'm not too worried about getting it done quickly.
