If anyone is following me on my Tumblr account (http://alltheprettydresses.tumblr.com/), yes, it is Edwardian day. Because I'm sick and I want to see lots and lots of pretty pretties and Edwardian is one of my favorite periods that still has a LOT of extant dresses unlike the 1500s.
And if anyone made it through the rambling post last night; I gave up and started on Dad's side of the family. They lived in South Carolina and Tennessee once they skipped out of Maryland.... A few of them have made it out to Mississippi but most are still very much in Tennessee. I still need to move to North Carolina just on the principle of the matter. It seems to be at the heart of all this "staying in one place for well over three hundred if not more years" nonsense.
