Steampunk World's Fair
Feb. 8th, 2011 06:52 amFirst, who's going?
Second, after making reservations last night, I found out the hotel accepts dogs. Although I know it will be crazy and crowded, Ginsie is quite portable when she needs to be. If I brought her -other than giving me an excuse to dress up my dog probably better than some of the participants- it would also give me some piece of mind. I wouldn't be freaking every few minutes about whether or not she's had her meds, if she's had an attack, ect. I'd have her right there with me. The only bad thing, really, would be that it does get crowded and I know not everyone is appreciative of dogs (Really, I'm not worried at all about her reaction. Ginsie is amazingly good around large groups of people in costume given the SCA events she's been too. It's more of the "I'm afraid of/don't like dogs" people I'm worried about.)
I know I can leave her with my parents and they know what to do if she gets a seizure but I'd much rather have her with me where I can physically see she's okay. Plus, it would be hilarious to have a living fur accessory. :-) Oh well, I have until May to decide to bring her or not...
