First, please please repost to make sure everyone who is going will get a say.
Second, for everyone going to Costume Con, what about a quick trip out to NYC for High Tea? I know it will be about $50 per a person at the Plaza but...it's high tea, in Victorian/Edwardian/Steampunk dress, at the Plaza. This is sort of one of those "things you need to do once in your life". I can make reservations, I'm sure, and warn them of the influx of "ladies and gentlemen in true high tea garb" but I'd like to know if anyone is interested. (Just a simply smilie face reply will do)
Also, if you have any ideas of where else to go or of someplace that is cheaper, that would be awesome as well.
EDIT: There is also http://www.alicesteacup.com/ which looks very neat. It's $30 a person, versus $47~$55. However, parties of 8 or more need to rent a room which is at least $200. Basically, it might even out to the same amount depending on the amount of people.
