According to the weather reports RIGHT NOW, Friday of Under the Redcoat will be 89 F, Saturday will be 85 F, and Sunday will be 83 F. Those are the highs. All we can do is pray that those are correct and won't change. (Not that I wouldn't mind a bit cooler on Friday but, eh, I don't want to ruin it!)

I knew I'd jinx it. I just knew it! Yeap, 99 F all the way. Grr....

Oh yes, another silk sale! Some of their silks are now $6.64 a yard. They have some lovely striped taffetas and quilted silks, included quilted silk velvet. Given the going rate for silk lately, and that most of the colors are pretty light, just dye the fabric if you don't like the color. The quilted silks and velvets are great for winter petticoats.
