Sewing Project Ideas
Jul. 5th, 2011 11:49 pmI suddenly really want to make at least one dress for Vegas. The cherry print I just bought should be made into a vintage styled dress. With red velvet trim details. Or maybe pink velvet?
I'd like to make a simple early 16th c Italian styled gown for Pennsic out of the red damask patterned linen/cotton blend I have. I bought some black velvet trim for the hem and necklines. The problem is I already have one hand sewing project I need to get done before Pennsic and I don't think the vintage machine is up to sewing together that much material. I *might* be able to fix another machine I have...or maybe trade parts and make a monster machine? It works with computers and they are both Euro Pro machines...hmmmmm....
The semi secret Pennsic outfit is progressing slowly but progressing. I'm sure it will get done by the end of the month as long as I stick to it.
