Still Busy

First: I think I found the perfect trailer. It's just north of Baltimore, it's a 6'x12', and it's only $225. I'm just praying that no one else buys it before I can get up there to see it and hand over cash. :-)

Second: I will work on sewing. I swear.

Third: I dyed that mint green velvet I got from padawansguide. It came out to a GORGEOUS silvery dark sage/pine forest green. Mom will love it.

She loved it. I took the fabric (and a few other things over) to my parents house and she adores the color it came out as. I'm thinking a gothic fitted gown with silver trim and buttons now for it. Line it with the silver/gray silk I already have...hmmm...

You're so lucky. My mother won't wear anything I make for her, even perfectly normal mundane SWEATERS. :(

Aww! My parents ask me to make stuff. Maybe knit your parents a toaster cover for the new house? Or simple pot holders?
