I hate colds.

isabelladangeloOther than the fact my nose has turned against me and my ears and throat have joined forces with my nose, I'm okay. The lungs were considering a counter move there for a bit but I think the massive amounts of over the counter medications have nipped that. So, for now, beheaded sounds like a good thing.
I have cut out Mom's Turkish coat. I accidentally cut a V in the back rather than a curved seam but other than that, it should look okay. It's blue linen lined in pink striped linen. She'll have blue linen pants and a white linen/cotton chemise. I'll add green velvet trim to the Turkish coat just to make it stand out a bit. I need to find my silver buttons I got a couple of years ago. I think they are in one of the boxes....
I'll sew the coat up tomorrow and, hopefully, get pictures.
I did get buy more fabric at Joanns the other day. (I know. Bad.) I got three lovely flannels (aka OMG! They are soooo cute! Strawberries! Rainbows! Stars!) that I want to make into pj bottoms for myself. I also got more duck cloth because I ran out (ack!) so that was the real reason I went back to the fabric store (aka Paycheque sucking machine..).
