Really sick now

I'm pretty sure this has gone from a cold to the flu. I pretty much got sent home. However, I can't really sleep so I'm basically all foggy headed (yeah yeah, I know. Nothing new) and miserable (Tea! And Lemon water I'm told. Although I was also told that Ginger Ale was perfectly fine). I want this to go away before the weekend.
In good news, I somehow got a "Time Off" award. I have no idea how. All the sudden, I checked my time card and I have 3 extra days I can take off...which is awesome because it means that I don't have to do a whole lot of comp time in order to go to Pennsic...unless this stupid flu/virus/cold thing keeps up. It better not.

This is the flannel I bought at Joanns. Like I said, rainbows, stars, and strawberries. It's perfect for three pairs of PJ bottoms.

Evidence I did cut out Mom's Turkish coat finally. It's all cut out. I folded the muslin in the middle like that because the muslin is the pattern for my Turkish coat and Mom is petite. I made sure it will fit her so it should be okay. The lining is pink striped linen. Hopefully, I'll get around to sewing it either tomorrow or Saturday. I need to finish that up and her chemise so she'll be properly clothed for Day in the Middle East....
