Busy!

I'm not dead. I'm still around. I've finished my Christmas Skirt and I'm waiting on some D-rings for the German gown and in the meantime I've been working on a new purse. I'll post all the pictures later. I went fabric shopping again because I needed canvas. I ended up with the brocade for the purse, ten patterns, 6 yards of velvet, 8 yards of this really pretty blue sari material for a curtain, matching purple fabric to back the curtain, and the most gorgeous trim that is almost perfect for my re-remake of the Just Breathe gown.
As for other stuff, I decorated the tree, lights and all, by myself. Now to go look for a gazillion candy canes to put on it....

Are you a candy-cane fundamentalist (red and white) or do you use those "other" colors (green/gold/blue)?

I like the red, white, & green ones. I'll do rainbow ones if I can find them; they taste like cotton candy. I'm more of a "Does it still taste good?" person more than anything else. :-) So we get the green and white ones once in a white too.
