1) Reply to this post, and I will pick six of your icons.
2) Make a post and talk about the icons I chose.
3) Your friends then comment to you & make their own posts.
4) This will create a never-ending cycle of icon goodness. Yay!

Anne of a Thousand Days is one of my favorite movies. A few people claim I look like Geneviève Bujold but it's probably just the hair. I plan on making the brown dress and the buttercream dress. I might have enough time to make the buttercream dress before Pennsic which would be fun. It's not exact but it's pretty good for what was known at the time. Most people just giggle at the French hoods/hairbands in the movie.

This, I think, started as a joke. I know someone was saying something snarky in relation to Gone with the Wind (the quoted the movie in a comment I think. It probably had to do with one of those "SASS/Civil War/Victorian/Renaissance/Space Alien Punk" type ebay auctions) and I had seen this icon only a couple of days before. So, I kidnapped it and posted with it.

The orange dress is my favorite. :-) Okay, so a couple of years ago, a lady who was temping at my office for the month gave me a copy of the dvd since "You like renaissance Italy". I had helped her with learning our computer systems and she was pretty good at surfing the internet on her own by the time she left. She gave me the dvd for helping her.

I have a necklace that looks exactly like this and I'm a sucker for anything sparkly. The lady who made this icon use to make some really pretty ones. She started communities and all but I think I might have accidentally exposed her limitations when I asked for an animated snowflake icon. After I asked for one, all the communities she had up, she shut down and she stopped posting all together a few weeks later...I never got the icon.

I love roses and fairies. I also just like the colors of this icon and the way the lighting is used. If it had a deep aqua/turquoise background rather than the gray, it would be perfect. Actually, add a unicorn too and you'll have everything I've loved since I was two. :-)

I originally wanted a pastel celtic cross on a white background for Easter. However, I saw this one and loved the colors of the stained glass in the background with the simple gold looking cross. It just doesn't seem right not to have something semi-religious on a very important religious holiday.
