isabelladangeloFirst, in case anyone missed it I was finally able to post some pictures this weekend.
Second, the partlet should be done by tonight! Assuming I can find a new beading needle. That shouldn't be hard since that's just a run over to one of the many craft stores in the area. It's sewn up and looks pretty good to my eye as is. I just need to add the pearls and that's pretty easy for me. Find an intersection of ribbon, add pearl. Very simple. Yes, there is always that possibility that I magically find a way to totally mess it up but, for now, it looks good. By the end of the week, I should be starting on the sleeves. Who knows? Maybe by Novice I'll actually have this thing DONE.
Tonight is going over, with Mom, what styles of gown she wants, again. The problem is we simply aren't speaking the same language at this point. She's thinking shape, I'm thinking time period/country. I need to get her to draw out what she wants and then I can match it to a specific time period. She does like the kirtle but I think she wants just a t-tunic without coming out and saying she wants a t-tunic.
