I just have a very cool (Well to me at least) update on today. I've been asked to become a vendor at the Arkansas Renn Fest. I double checked and everything is legit. It's just too bad that a) it's half way across the USA for me and b) it's the day after my b-day. Despite that, I'm still considering it. After all, I'd LOVE to vend at a renn fest. If any of the ones within a days drive asked me, I jump on it in a heart beat. But I'd have to take a week off of work for this one just to drive down (two days. I've done it before. I lived in Oxford, MS for a couple of years) and come back. Plus, I'd have to rent a U-haul (not bad, but I hate pulling that thing down I-40!), find someone to care for Miss Ginsie (yeah, okay, so getting her "grandparents" aka Mom and Dad to take my puppy for a couple of days is like trying to force a five year old to go to a toy store....), and find a place in Arkansas to stay. Hmmm....

I can't. As a very good friend of mine just reminded me; I have a wedding to be in. :-) I'd much rather go to her wedding and wear I think it's lilac right now gowns than drive two days straight along the dreaded I-40.

That sounds like both a really cool idea and an endeavor that would require a whole lot of energy. But I would try to do it, since you have somewhere to put the dog. Let me know how it went. How many gowns do you have to sell at this point?
