and the Eleanor of Toledo pink gown will be done. Honest. I've gotten a lot done on it. Now, my question is this: Should I wear the gown to Pennsic A&S display or not. Normally, I would and just take it off right afterwards. However, I also would like to wear it to the attack_laurel party. Yes, I could wear it the whole day but what would you rather see, the dress on a dress form (doable) or on a person?

I would put it on the mannequin for the display and wear it to the Attack Laurel's party.

Can you stuff a mannequin to give the dress the right shape before then, it will make a goodly difference.

Stuffing a mannequin is easy. :-) I'll just use my old, my reliable method of a simple chair/stool and a very fluffy pillow. It works pretty well (http://www.strawberriesncreame.com/6a0689f8.jpg) and gives a pretty decent period shape overall.
