Name three things that you have done that others on your f-list probably haven't:

1. Went to World Youth Day (when the Pope comes to celebrate Mass for the "young" people) many years ago in Denver Colorado.

2. Been in a cage with a live tiger when I was two years old.

3. Went to Modeling School. (Yes, as in how to work that catwalk)

Feel free to ask questions!

It was interesting. I met a lot of people, got a ton of swaps, and basically sat around at night, eating M&M's while playing poker with our priest who came with us.

Hee! I did modeling school, too. My mom thought it would teach me self-confidence. Really, all I learned is how to walk funny and put on blue eyeliner. (God bless the '80's!)

We learned about place settings and how to stand, sit, ect... What still bugs the heck out of me to this day is that my parents were offered a contract for myself and my brother to be in a couple of commercials. They refused. For some reason, my parents all the way up until very recently were very against me doing ANYTHING remotely involving fashion or acting. Dad did apologize for not letting me go into Fashion Design when I was 18 like I wanted to...but he only apologized two years ago. He demanded I go into Marine Science. We finally settled on Anthropology after my first year of college....

Thankfully, my mom learned that lesson early on. In our school system, you started music lessons and band in 4th grade. *I* wanted to play the drums. She was appalled at the idea of her sweet little girl banging on drums, and signed me up for flute lessons. I stuck with it for three years - until she finally let me switch in 7th grade, because I was so miserable playing the damn flute.

After that little life lesson... she pretty much let me do what I wanted. ;)
