isabelladangeloSo they are blocking all sorts of things here at work. Such horrible sites as my friends page (I can still access my page? What the heck?), one of my emails, my radio, and oh, the most evil of all, my home owner's association webpage. I needed the maintenance number so I went to yellow pages, which, amazingly, still does work.
I can still read the news, search google (can't really click on anything, but I can see pretty pictures), and get into one or two things but this is simply not fun. Apparently, the problem is bandwith. According to the guys that run our internet here, my home network is a better set up. So, until we get more bandwith (maybe September, hopefully?), we are stuck like this.
Of course, the sad thing is I can still accesses almost everything on my blackberry. So, I'm reading my friends page off of that....
Yes, I do real work. But most of my real work is attempting to find ways to make our own web page application better. So...I search for similar products on the internet, or products that have features that I think would be useful, and see about implementing those. That's why I need the internet so much for my work!
