I will write a lot more later but I will say that Pennsic was a blast. The wooden floor was a very good idea in my tent. I loved it. Only a couple of minor issues...one being that my truck broke down at mile marker 149 on I-70 outside of Breezewood PA. I guess this means a new truck? Will post pictures with explanations later!!! If there is anything you'd like me to read that I missed while I was gone, even if it's silly (esp. if it's silly!) then please comment below to let me know. Or just comment with randomness. :-)

Of course you needs to read every word I wrote while you were gone being disgusting and having fun and ... and ... and ...

*sigh*

Hope the truck won't be too pricey!

Was the weather as perfect as it looked like it was?

Thinking on the sound my truck made, I'm not sure if it was one of the rods ($$$ and pure evil) or the drive belt. If it's the belt, then I can just fix the truck and deal. The sound was a sudden, loud clomp followed by a lot of other softer clomps that kinda sounded like a wet rubber fan hitting something metal. Given that, I'm starting to think "belt" which is on the cheap side to replace. (A couple of hundred versus a couple of thousand) Also, given my past problems with my truck, it's normally something relatively cheap to replace (like the time I got stranded on I-95 in Jan in the night, in the rain, when it was 34 F out...freakin' starter...)

Anyway, yes, the weather was perfect. I just loved it. It never got overly hot and it got chilly at night (blankets!!!!). I'll write more on Pennsic later when I find my cord for the camera...

It really does sound like this would have been the perfect year (weather-wise) for me to have gone.

*sigh*

I really don't know that there would be much there of interest unless you want to see my (mostly mundane) embroidery.

ETA: and yeah, that fwappy, rubber sound does indeed sound like a belt. BTDT ....
