isabelladangeloI left a bit early today and only got yard work done. At least the yard is mowed now!
It was warm today. I wore my red corduroy bodice, my red plaid skirt, and my crinkle cotton chemise. The bodice was the first "bodice" I made but it still fits and looks fine for Renn Fest applications. Besides, it goes with the skirt. Unfortunately, I must have made the skirt at one of the "up" points in my weight because it kept falling to my hips. I tried pulling it up and I just need to take the skirt hooks over about 4" or so.....the one problem with loosing any weight is your garb closet.
I got another pair of hairsticks. I'll wear them tomorrow. These are blue "bubble" ones with heart charms that have the Christian cross in them. It's subtle but pretty so I had to get them.
I didn't have my camera today. Otherwise I would have taken pictures of all the kilt wearers (there weren't as many as last year it seemed). I'll have it tomorrow.
I *think*, at this point, Renn fest in the morning and then Mount Vernon. I looked at the schedules for both and I think that will work out best. I'm still not sure.
