Got home last night
Sep. 26th, 2008 10:08 amI took an earlier flight because we finished training earlier than we thought we would. So, my supervisor dropped me off at the airport in Tampa and I found a flight that would leave Tampa earlier, go to Atlanta, and then get an earlier connecting flight to National. I took it.
Even though I loathe the Atlanta airport (I still say that train needs to be exorcised even if they have gotten rid of the demonic voice...), it turned out to be a really exciting and cool trip.
I got to Atlanta around 5:50 and wanted dinner. They had a Chick-Fil-A express and I happily went there, got my chicken nuggets, fries, and sweet tea, and then went to sit at the gate. I was up near the desk. Now, try hard to picture this: Me, with my hair braided back, a red and white 3/4 sleeve tee, a pair of brown work pants (I couldn't change out of the pants but I could change the freaking work shirt! I do not like work clothing) and my blue & pink tye-dyed bookbag.
I'm sitting there, happily eatting, when I hear a VERY familiar voice ask "Miss? Where did you get the Chick-Fil-A?" I look up and it's Ben Stein. :-) So, I can now say that I have given Ben Stein directions (even if it was just to go down the corridor at the Atlanta airport.)
...and no. I was so tempted but I didn't ask him to say "Bueller".
