Political stuff

Well, needless to say I'm disappointed. The country has just voted in the most partisan, the most liberal member of the senate who has never even written up a bill or taken a lead on anything. He's president because he can speak pretty and he looks pretty. Oh sure, he says he'll be bipartisan but does his record show that? Nope. Oh sure, he says he'll fix healthcare, work on the economy, and do all these other things that sound great but does his record show that? Nope.
So what will happen next? First, he'll conduct drastic cuts in spending which will sound lovely but actually hurt us far far more. Those cuts will include the DoD (the military), Counterterrorism, and probably the State department. This will mean thousands of jobs. This will also mean further problems in trying to predict the next attack and thwart the next attack. Yes, there will be more spending on domestic issues, eventually, but domestic issues don't mean much when there are 11~20 guys in this country that want to fly planes into buildings. We've been extremely lucky so far. I know that not everyone realizes it because, unfortunately, not all the stories make it to the news. Fort Dix and Lackawanna are just a couple of examples out of hundreds. People want to kill us and you can't talk a suicide/homicide bomber from blowing you to smithereens (well, maybe if you show them bacon. That's worked before.).
So Joe Biden will get his wish ("This guy will be tested in the first six months of office") because Obama will cut spending in key sectors. The economy will stall (sorry, but Socialism has always been proven again and again not to work well), the unemployment rate will be up and we'll see more homeless vets again....
But there is hope. Two years from now the American people will be fed up with Obama's carelessness. The Republicans will take back the Senate. Two years after that? Rudy for President!
