isabelladangeloSo I have everything I need for my 12th night gown. Now to cut the thing out and sew it up! I bought 5 yards of black cotton velvet for the underdress. I'm using the gold that looked reddish in the picture for the overdress. I'm just going to dye the other yellow a nice deep burgundy and use that for a new 1840's dress. That with black lace? Pretty!
Now to get motivated to cut fabric! Piecing the fabric together and sewing it is easy, it's the lying the fabric flat on the floor and cutting it out that always gets me...
In other news, I bought a new comforter. Nothing too exciting in that really. It's an interesting plum color that goes great with the Havasu blue walls...
