Going to the Dumbarton House Tour on the 28th. Anyone going to the tea afterwards? I need to finish my dress tomorrow....or later today really. It's 2:30 am?!? Really? hmmm....

The dress is in pieces, as it has been for a while now, on the sewing room floor pile. It's going to be a rosy pink and I have a green shawl to go with it...and proper shoes.

I have the Pyrate Feast that evening and also, I'm having my seamstress make me a victorian outfit as most of my friends do "teas" etc...(like you are!) Next time, when my outfit is finished, I shall want to go with you!! :-)

That would be wonderful! Tea is fun. It's even more fun when everyone is wearing appropriate 19th c afternoon tea outfits.
