Everything about this one reminds me of Claudia's dress from Interview with a Vampire. Maybe it's just the color but it just screams "Claudia" to me...


Want. If I had an extra $400+ lying around right now, this dress would be mine. I don't care if I could never wear it. That's not the point. The point is that it is absolutely drop dead gorgeous and I totally need a dress like that. ....anyone have any black silk net they are trying to get rid of?

Yes, it's falling apart but just try to deny the draw of stripy Victorian outfits.

I had put a bid on the striped one early on but quickly got outbid. I really just want to see the construction. However, I also saw a few other auctions after that one and well...my willpower goes south too with pretties. Like I said, if I had $400+ to spend....

So I got it. I'm going to be doing a full-on conservation treatment on it, possibly even for my thesis, so believe me, there WILL be pictures. I'll be documenting it liek whoa, and if I can, pulling a pattern off it too.

I just love the colors!
