The dress really is almost done. I found the PERFECT mustard yellow (yes, the hideous shade of mustard yellow from the 1970's) linen for the apron to the dress. So, I'll have a brown linen Neapolitan styled jacket, lined in green linen, with deadstock 1970's trim in mustard yellow, brown, and bright pink. The dress with be bright pink with brown & mustard yellow trim done in the 1580's Italian style. With the apron, it will look perfectly peasanty...and have a horrible clash of colors that wasn't popular from 1589 until 1973....I just need to add some tangerine orange somehow to really make people scream.....
