Before the storm started.
I've cut out my 18th c dress. Hopefully, I'll get some good pictures of it this weekend assuming everything goes right. I'm basing the pattern loosely on an extant gown I've seen only online and in books, my own 1790's bodice to a gown that I have upstairs, and patterns from the time. Although the bodice I have is a bit later than I wanted to do, it helps to see the original seam placement and how they were closing garments at that time up close. The dress won't be perfect but hopefully it will be recognizable!
Ginsie already likes it.... Silly puppy.
