Pink Linen
Jul. 23rd, 2009 03:02 pmThe last dress I want to do before Pennsic (woohoo!) is out of a lovely carnation pink linen that is oh so soft and oh so beautiful. I took it out of the dryer and just loved it. Now, the problem is what style of dress to make with it. (BTW, I'll post the blue linen dress I pretty much finished later. I just need to do the stupid eyelets!)
I'm thinking another pink Italian dress. I love the lines of the late 15th c/early 16th c gowns. I already have umm...a few. (Black velvet, gold puffy, black dead dino that had the awesome floral pattern, cream one I need to fix, blue linen, pink jacquard that goes with the grey silk one I'm almost finished with, and probably a few others I can't remember off the top of my head) However, I'm open to other ideas that are fairly quick and easy. (I can get an Italian dress together in a couple of hours if I really wanted to..)
