Pictures!

My MD Renn Fest set up on Flickr. I've added a lot of new photos to the set. They start right after the picture of me in my Elizabethan Jacket. I took a lot of photos of the leaves and the buildings this time. I'm sorry I didn't get the Green Lantern. He was awesome!

I also worked on Mom's outfit. I cut out all the pieces (except the lining. I'm not sure what to do about the Frock Coat lining) and have that now. So, it's really a matter of sitting down and sewing! On to the pictures:

The front of the waistcoat with the "embroidery". I have a couple more packages of the same iron patches to fill in the rest of the waistcoat with "embroidery" but I wanted to lay it out to see what it would look like.

The front of the frock coat with the waistcoat It isn't as dark as I wanted but the frock coat material came out well enough. I think with some silver buttons it will really look nice.

Looking good! Maybe I've just never noticed these iron-on embroidery/patches before, but where did you find them? Seems like a great shortcut when you need one.

Joanns. :-) They are hidden in with the glitter glam flower ones for Jeans. It's about $4 for a packet but you get three patches for that.
