It's go from "Dear God! What the heck hit this place?!?" to "cluttered". Cluttered is good. Cluttered can be organized. Beyond that, I actually have a room again! There is floor space! All the "repairs" and half finished projects are put away and off the middle of the floor. I've discarded well over half my scrap pile. I just didn't want to deal with it and most were pretty small anyway.

So, when I wake up later today, I'm going to re-organize the desk and try and do something with all the trim. I think I might go get a photo box or something like that. I might even go back to Ikea and get some of their boxes but I'm not sure. I'll see what I need tomorrow when I'm able to think again. I would like some more organizers for all the patterns.

Now, the question is, should I put up another shelf in here and put the rest out in the living room or put them all out in the living room? Hmmm... I could put the books out in the living room that way and make space for the trims and other things on the shelves in the sewing room....

Good for you! I'd put the books in the living room and leave the sewing room shelves for trims and things. Then you can browse your books while watching TV!

That's probably what I'll end up doing. The shelves I got will go in either room pretty well. What I need to do is get pretty boxes for all the trim to put it on the shelves the books are now occupying...and bookends. Lots of bookends.

I'm just excited to see the green carpet again!
