Ginsie is a spoiled rotten princess brat. Okay, so, yeah, like that's any news. However, this time, it's not my fault. It's Dad's. After Ginsie got sick last week, she wouldn't eat her food. Not really that big of a deal since she was drinking both the water and the gatorade. Mom and I figured she'd eat when she got hungry enough.
However, Dad knew that I was getting worried because Ginsie did need her medicine and her meds have to go on food. ...So he puts melted cheese on her food to get her to eat it. Yes, he took a dog bowl, put cheese on top, and put it in the microwave. The problem now is getting Ginsie to eat without the cheese on top of her food! :-)
Sewing:
I think I've come up with a plan of attack on the 1780's dress. I'm going to modify the muslin again and see what I can do about sizing it correctly. I bought the pattern I have back uh...four or five years ago? So it's a bit too big. That wouldn't be an issue if it weren't for my insane need to make the pattern "more correct". Since I only have this pattern with me and not my entire collection (I did bring Patterns of Fashion with me in a split second of brilliance), I can't just cut out a different size from another pattern.
Oh well, I'll have something to play with by the end of the day.
Snow!!!!!
So, is everyone ready for the encore? It's coming Tuesday night and it's starting to look like an all day thing Wednesday. It should add another few inches on top of the mess we already have. Yes, children, no school for the week. Yes, adults, no work for a few days. Especially given what that will do to the power situation!

I'm thinking Wednesday will be the first I'll be able to get out of here..I never thought I'd say this, but I'm thankful that there is only going to be about 3-6 inches with this next storm...I love snow, but this one was a bit ridiculous!
