...so I bought a new sewing machine. It should be here by the end of the week. I have four projects lined up and I can't wait to get the thing.
Isabella's new sewing machine I choose this one because a) as much as I would love an embroidery machine, I need something durable more and b) look at the first review on the page above by a real person :-) I know if I get a machine I'm going to make it work through leather, denim, canvas, organza, and numerous other fabrics of varying widths and textures...so I need something that can put up with that.
In other news, I've knitted another shawl...this time out of some wool I hand spun. I'll probably enter it into the Storvik Novice competition because I only started spinning in October or so...and knitting was a new thing as of Memorial Day weekend 2005. :-) I'll see what else I can get done..
In the meantime, anyone need some sewing machine parts? The two brothers that I mutilated still have some good parts to them...like the belt.
