The dress thus far...

So...what do y'all think? I started to add the trim to it -at least pleated the trim to the gown- and figure I need another yard of what I do have. It's not hard to get to the store as long as you stay on the main roads. The neighborhood roads still look like great skiing trails...

Anyway, any opinions? I'm thinking of placing a pink ribbon down the center but Mom thinks rosettes across the front (like button placement) would be prettier. Or even rosettes along the trim. Any other thoughts?

oh, pretty! that's a tough call, I think either the pink ribbon down the center or the rosettes would be great: I'm leaning towards the ribbon though =)...can't wait to see it!

I like the ribbon a bit more too but Mom made the "it looks like a uniform!" comment and it sort of made me cringe. However, I came up with a third idea late last night. I might criss cross the pink ribbon across the "open" section of the gown to make it look more like there is a stomacher underneath. I might still go with the ribbon down the center or the rosettes too. At least Dad pulled Mom away from the glitter idea...
