Pictures of the Fete and everyone wearing their pretty gowns It really was a lot of fun even if my hair was a disaster. ...and I somehow got a double chin in most of the photos.... Just pay attention to the dresses -and shoes! ...and food!

Now that I'm not rushing to post: The food was fabulous and the company even more so. Although everyone else seemed partial to the mint macaroons, I rather liked the lavender ones and the peanut soup! Everyone sat around and talked and played a very interesting round of cards. We should all go to Vegas! In our dresses, of course!

More Snow pictures at the bottom I went downtown on Friday and took some of the Mall and the surrounding area. They came out nicely!

I still have some more trim to add but it was at that "I can wear it!" point.

[livejournal.com profile] past_blue wore them, I think, partly, as a joke on the film, Marie Antoinette. At one point in the film, you can see converse right next to all the 18th century esque shoes (http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2202/2393527231_aee6e9e79a.jpg)

Thank you so much! I'm going to add some more trim to the edge of the sleeves and the rosettes but other than that, it's done. :-)

It was fun and I am really glad that I got to see everyone again. Thank you so much about the dress! Being only my second time attempting 18th c (and the first time to try it "correctly"), I'm still sort of "Uh, I think it goes like this!"
