Shoes I can wear and shoes that are actually period!

I ordered the Connie in natural from Fugawee since I need 18th c shoes. I'm tired of wearing "eh, they look close enough" and wanted a pair that would work for both night and day to a certain extant. Honestly, I think I might wear these to work because they really don't "scream" 18th c but they are period looking.

Anyway, I managed to get a pair of real 18th c shoes off of ebay. The are a pair of children's leather shoes that aren't in the best of condition but I loved the look of the soles on them. Plus, It should help me figure out better how to make my own in the future...

I can't wait to get them. I really liked the color of the natural. It's something different from all the brown and black I've typically seen and the price was good. :-)
