Christmas Dress

isabelladangeloThe back of the dress. I just love the pleats. There are four yards of silk in the skirt, most of it to the back following the true Regency style. Of course, my skirt only comes to above my knee. I suppose I *could* wear it over another longer dress but I think they only did that with a light material over a heavier one?
The front of the dress. I have yet to add things like ribbon and trim which I plan on doing this week. I'm adding a pleated/gathered trim to the bottom of the skirt and I'm adding a very small red ribbon to the front of the dress that will tie a slightly gathered neckline.
