Since they are the only ones with good coverage of what is happening in Egypt. I've heard a lot of scary stories and a lot of good ones -like the looters that got into the National Museum but the army and the good protesters went after them, took over the museum, secured it, and got as much of the goods as they could. The people of the neighborhood then put the museum artifacts in the local mosque where they will be protected until all of this is over.

It was a decade ago, almost exactly, that I was there...

I heard of similar bravery in Iraq. I admire people putting their lives at risk to protect the national heritage of their country. I wish I would do the same, but I'm not sure I have the courage. I support the reasons for the riot, but I don't see the need to attach museums. They're really not a part of the riot.
