This is about a very loyal dog that refused to leave his/her injured friend and protected the very weak dog from any further danger. Given some of the horrible tragedies we have all heard coming out of Japan, this is a nice story of hope. My heart and my prayers go to the people (and animals!)of Japan.

Both pups are doing well from the reports I've seen. It's wonderful to see not only animals trying to take care of each other, but people helping them in this time of crisis. You can hear how emotional the poor reporter was getting. To see any sign of life in that devastation is a miracle within itself.
