Busy Busy Day!

This morning I slept it. :-) I ended up going to 11:00 mass and leaving right afterwards for the grocery store where I bought everything I should need until Costume Con. I then filled up with gas for my truck (I know, boring, but this is getting somewhere, I swear), when my brother called. He was on his way over to pick up the digital converter I have (I don't need it, he does) along with Dad and we were to go to Lunch. Woohoo!
So, I went home, unpacked the groceries, cleaned the bathroom, straightened up the living room, and finished prepping the dining room so I could paint when I got home. Of course, right when I think "I should change into something less uggy", my brother Lee walks in. Oh well. Luckily, Dad decided to treat us to lunch at Ikea. It's not the best but I was dressed for it and it's perfectly fine for what you pay for.
Lee just moved into his new apartment and he needs more than a dining room table. I offered him my futon but he doesn't want it -I think he's just scared of allergies thanks to Ginsie although the cover I have on the mattress is perfectly removable. So, we went sofa shopping and found nothing. It wasn't that he didn't like stuff -it was that my poor brother has the same syndrome I have; we like everything that is way way out of our price ranges. :-)
We tried costco with no luck and then Dad and I decided that Lee needed to see the agricultural center so we drove by cows. For those not in the area, the agricultural center is right inbetween Ikea and Costco. It's rather odd to most people because you see shopping, shopping, buildings, and then....cows. There's no gentle furthering of buildings as you drive further and further down the the road. It's simply hidden behind the buildings.
After that, I came home and then started to work on the house. For all those details, check out my entry on my Blogspot blog.
