isabelladangelo: (Elizabethan-esque)
[personal profile] isabelladangelo
I cut out the new skirt for the Turquoise Italian dress, the new pink 18th C petticoat, and the lining for the Spanish Surcote. I also sewed up the lining, the main body of the surcote, the sleeves, and just need to finish up the edge of the shoulder detail before adding it to the surcote and then sewing it all up. The Elizabethan Surcote looks really neat in the low lights I have in the sewing room. I can't wait to wear it at Costume Con. I did use the "many star" lining rather than silk (Etymology, think about it.) but it looks *right* despite that. It's hard to explain until you see it. Pictures up tomorrow night, hopefully!
