The Governor's Palace Gardens
6 p.m.
His Excellency, the Royal Governor of the colony of Virginia, invites you to join him at the Governor’s Palace for an evening of celebration and festivities welcoming his wife and children to their new home after a long voyage across the ocean and down the coast from New York. Enjoy all the beauty and entertainments the Palace Gardens have to offer, including music, dancing, refreshments, strolling entertainers, firelit walkways, and the chance to rub elbows with Virginia’s finest society in this premiere evening event.
....I really want to go but I'm not sure. Between Costume Con and the Steampunk World's Faire, another $150 (Gas + tickets) probably isn't the best idea in the world. But who can resist either? Agh!
