Some Observations:

The trim on the real "Just Breathe" gown is curved slightly on the bust creating the faux opening with the gold lace and silver embroidered "tree". It's hard to tell at first, but it's the only way the opening there makes any sense. It also makes sense when you try to place the trim like that going up around the strap.
I have the bodice pattern, now to actually cut out the dress. I'm sort of dreading it because I really don't want to cut into the super expensive but oh so pretty overskirt fabric. I have enough white silk that the underdress isn't an issue and I know where to get more crinkle metallic silk.... Or so I keep telling myself. You know the cutting into the black velvet dilemma with the surcote? This is worse.
