Happy Fourth of July!!!

I'm watching the Twilight Zone marathon while waiting for my brother and sister in law to get here with the nephews. My favorite episode is on. The Obsolete Man is my fav episode simply because absolutely nothing in it needs to be changed in order for the meaning of it to be understood. Every last piece of it is perfect.

I did finish my 4th of July gown and I'll post pictures tomorrow of it. So far, I've gotten a ton of compliments and all I did was go to the grocery store! I finished it on my vintage machine (I figured out why the thread was breaking) so that makes it period correct, right? A vintage vogue pattern on a vintage 1950's machine? :-)

Not a problem! Like I said, I liked it because it doesn't have to be changed at all. The man claims he's a librarian but there aren't anymore books. Given that e-books outsell hard copies on Amazon, I can very much imagine a world where there are no physical books.
